Getting a spot in the Web Summit ALPHA Programme, doesn’t automatically mean you’ve also been chosen for Ignite’s International Travel Sponsorship. You have to follow the process and criteria.
IGNITE’s International Travel Sponsorship Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be operating in Pakistan’s startup ecosystem.
- Registered age of the startup must be less than 5 years.
- Startup that have already received funding from Ignite for int’l travel is not eligible to apply again.
- The startup must have secured their place at Web Summit ALPHA Programme.
- Upon shortlisted by Web Summit for ALPHA Programme, startup can apply for full or partial travel sponsorship from Ignite by forwarding the email received from Web Summit to [email protected].
- Upon acceptance by Ignite, startup need to submit a formal application to Ignite on prescribed forms, that will be shared later with selected startups.
- Please note that securing a spot at Web Summit ALPHA Programme 2023 does not guarantee Ignite’s travel sponsorship as startups will be competing for limited slots.
